Joy

Lord I thank you for my life; I thank you for choosing me to be a follower of you. I thank you for giving me so many gifts and strengths; I thank you for challenging me, pushing me, convicting me of the ways that I have allowed to become the way I live my life. Lord I pray that you would mold me into the disciple that you desire me to be. I thank you so much for this radical conviction Lord. I thank you for making me realize that I have allowed the material world be the center of my life. Lord, I am crying out to you this morning to pray that would continue to shed this mindset that I have allowed to poison me all my life. Lord, I pray that you would take my life, shape me, form me, and make me the disciple you want me to be. My comforts mean nothing in this world. So I pray that you would use me to further YOUR kingdom, I pray that whatever you desire for me, that you would direct me there. I thank you for leading me to Cameroon Africa. I thank you for this opportunity to create Sunday School Lessons. Lord, I know that this is just the beginning of plans that you have for me, I know that you have some crazy amazing things for my future. I thank you for revealing to me that this life in not about me, or my wants, but this life is all about taking YOUR glory and sharing it to the people of the world who have casted you away. The end times are coming, I know that soon you will return, and I pray that this little time that we do have left on the earth, that you would use me Lord, use me. Rip away all my wants, desires and make my desires what YOU want them to be. I thank you Lord for blessing me with some amazing people in my life, I thank you for blessing me with a mother and a father who have put you at the front of their lives. I thank you that I have two models to see of what a true disciple of Christ looks like. I thank you for the love that they have shown me my whole life, I thank you that no matter what I say, no matter what I do, that they are always there for me. I thank you for them, I do not deserve it, but I thank you for giving them to me. I thank you Lord for blessing me with a sister who has the heart the size of the world. I thank you that you are using her all around the World and the United States. I thank you for blessing her with so many gifts of being able to communicate with people, and giving her calm spirit and heart. I thank you that I have her to see as a model of a person who does not allow circumstances get her down. I thank you that you have given her a strong spirit, and a warrior for Christ spirit. I pray that you would use her where you desire her. I pray that she would continue to seek you with all of her heart.
Lord I thank you so much for blessing me with friends who have put you first. I thank you for Biz, Nicola, Cecily, Emily, Carolyn, Bianca, Kaci, Rachel, Meagan, Kelly, and Sarah-Brooke. I thank you that I have these women to look up to. They are women who have put you first in their lives, and I thank you so much that I can proudly say that I will be in heaven with these women, forever at the feet of you Christ, worshiping you forever and forever.
I thank you Lord for the people of Calvary Bible Church. I thank you Lord that they have showed me love and support. I thank you for every person in that church. I pray that as the body continues to draw closer to you, that you would lead the Church in the direction that YOU desire. I pray that the congregation would be challenged and convicted in the ways that they need to be. I pray that you would continue to reveal the plans that you have for the body. That they would put aside their needs and focus on the needs that you have for them; I pray that if there is anyone who is afraid to step forward and be challenged, that you would give them the strength to do so. I pray that the people of Calvary Bible Church would walk by Faith, not by sight.
Lord I pray for the people in Cameroon, Africa. I Pray Lord for their souls. I pray that if there are any hungry, lost, lonely, and broken, that you would use me to reach out to those. I pray for their salvation. That they would see living life without you is empty and unsatisfying. I pray that there would be no civil unrest, and that they would be a country seeking you in everything. I pray for the hungry and for the poor, that they would be satisfied. I pray that you would use me anyway to reach out to those who are poor and hungry.
Lord I pray for the United States. I pray that it would not be a Country living for the material world. I pray for the churches in the nation who have casted you aside. I pray that these misled churches would be convicted, and they would return to you. I pray for the pastors of those lost churches, that they would be deeply convicted for leading those astray. I pray for the lost Lord, the ones that I do know and the ones that I do not know. I pray that they would see how empty their lives are. I pray that they would find you and be your disciples. Lord I pray for the wounded, pray for the hurt, the broken, and those who have lost the will to live. That they would see you, that you would be revealed to them, and that they would find rest in you.
Lord I give you PRAISE for giving me breath this morning. I thank you for all the people who have made me the person that I am today. I thank you for everything, I am a sinner who deserves the pit of hell, but because of your NEVER-ENDING love, I can be transformed and turn to you to have my sin lifted away. I thank you, I thank you, I thank you. I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you. I pray that however long you decide to have me in Cameroon, that you would USE ME, continue to convict me, and continue to challenge me. Take me out of my comfort zones; put me where YOU DESIRE ME TO BE.
I thank you for this day. Praise the Lord!
“Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. HE will keep you strong right up to the end, and he will keep you free from all blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ Returns. God will surely do this for you, for he always does what he says, and he is the ONE who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his son, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.” 1 Corinthians 1: 7-9
