Crazy Love

“Jesus said, ‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33). Life isn’t perfect when you follow Christ wholeheartedly; you will have trouble, Jesus says-it is pretty much guaranteed.

BUT He has overcome the world. So take heart, keep on, fight the good fight, pray continuously, and do not grow weary. There is nothing better than giving up everything and stepping into a passionate love relationship with God, the God of the universe who made galaxies, leaves, laughter, and me and you.”

***Prayer request- I am not sure if they are talking about it on the news in the States, but there have been seven French tourists, four of them are children, who have been taken captive in the far north of Cameroon by Islam Extremists.  

Please, pray for the safety of those who are being held captive, and pray for the children and for their overall safety as well.

The French Government is working on getting them released, but from the sounds of this extreme group, they are not the easiest to deal with. Pray for the safety, and PRAY for the Islam group as well. We are called to love our enemies, pray for their salvation. Help them see and face their conviction.
